Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) has started shipping the locally-made Honda Click125 to Cambodia and Laos, the scooter’s first push into these two markets.

The first batch was dispatched after a send-off ceremony held on May 15, 2026, attended by HPI executives and project leads.
The shipment goes to N.C.X. Co., Ltd., the exclusive manufacturer, distributor, and assembler of Honda motorcycles in both countries.
What’s being shipped
The exported unit is the same Click125 sold here in the Philippines, the 2026 “Game Changer Upgrade” model that launched locally on February 10.
Hondal Click125Quick specs:
Engine: 125cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled SOHC with eSP technology

Torque: 11 Nm at 5,000 rpm
Transmission: V-Matic automatic (CVT)
Fuel efficiency: 49.3 km/L (WMTC)
Curb weight: 111 kg
Brakes: Hydraulic front disc, tubeless tires
For reference, the Click125 retails locally at ₱82,400 for the Standard and ₱86,900 for the Smart Edition. NCX will handle pricing and distribution on its end.
Why this matters
The Click125 is one of HPI’s best-selling models locally, they even recently celebrated their 12m unit motorcycle sales which is likely why it was picked as the export unit; a proven seller is easier to push into a new market than an unfamiliar one.

HPI President Takeshi Kobayashi said in a statement that the move “reflects our commitment to showcasing the quality of Philippine-made motorcycles” across the region.
It’s also worth noting that Honda already sells the Click125 in other Southeast Asian markets through different production hubs.
What’s new here is that the units headed to Cambodia and Laos are built in the Philippines, not Thailand or Vietnam.
What do you think? Is the Click125 a fair pick to represent Philippine-made motorcycles abroad, or would you have wanted a different model flying the flag, maybe the BeAT, the ADV160, or something bigger?
And for any reader in Cambodia or Laos who stumbles into this piece: would you go for a PH-built Click125 over a locally-assembled one? Drop your thoughts below, we’d love to hear them.
