VinFast Battery Subscription Guide: Evo, Feliz II, and Viper

Listen to article

VinFast has priced its three e-motorcycles for the Philippines. The Evo starts at PHP 70,000, the Feliz II at PHP 72,400, and the Viper at PHP 81,900. All three of those prices are on battery subscription, meaning the battery is not included.

Before placing a reservation, that distinction is worth understanding.

Two Ways to Own

VinFast gives buyers two options when buying any of the three models.

Battery subscription means the motorcycle is sold without the battery. You pay PHP 439 per battery per month, and that subscription gets you access to the battery-swapping network at PHP 35 per swap. You can still charge at home. Swapping is available only to subscribers. Battery owners cannot use the swap stations, even by paying the swap fee.

Battery ownership means you pay for the battery upfront as part of the motorcycle price. No monthly fee. But home charging is the only option.

The Introductory Offer

For riders who sign up for the battery subscription on or before July 31, 2026, VinFast is waiving the first-battery subscription fee for 12 months. They also get up to 20 free battery swaps per month during that promo period.

After the promo ends, the regular PHP 439 per battery per month rate kicks in, and each swap costs PHP 35.

Charging at Home

Every unit ships with a 400W charger that works on a standard household outlet. VinFast also offers a faster 1,000W charger through its after-sales channel for riders who want a shorter charge time.

One battery takes 3 to 4 hours to fully charge. Two batteries take 6 to 8 hours. The batteries are removable, so you can pull them out and charge them without plugging in the whole motorcycle.

The Swap Network

V-Green, a global charging infrastructure company and VinFast’s battery-swapping partner, is handling the station rollout in the Philippines. Deployment starts from VinFast dealer locations before expanding further. The stated target is approximately 30,000 stations nationwide. No confirmed completion timeline has been announced.

The Three Models

All three run on a 5,200W BLDC in-wheel motor at peak output with two batteries. Each motorcycle has two underseat battery slots for up to two 1.5kWh LFP batteries. With two fully charged batteries, range reaches up to 150 kilometers under standard conditions.

The Evo is the entry model with a retro look, 12-inch wheels, and an 80 km/h top speed. Single-battery range is 85 kilometers. The Feliz II moves to 14-inch wheels and a 90 km/h top speed with a more urban design. The Viper matches the Feliz II on performance but adds a smart key system and a Smart TFT display.

All three carry an IP67 rating on the motor and controller. The batteries meet the ECE-R136 safety standard with a warranty of up to six years or 72,000 kilometers.

For context, VinFast produced its one millionth electric motorcycle, a Feliz II, at its Hai Phong facility earlier this month. The brand sold 406,498 e-motorcycles in Vietnam in 2025 alone, a 473% increase from the year before.
