Bajaj three-wheelers, distributed in the Philippines by Trimotors Technology Corp., has launched the Wego P5009, its first fully electric three-wheeler designed for small and medium-sized businesses and everyday logistics.
The Wego P5009 uses a 9.2kWh battery paired with a 4.5kW electric motor, delivering a claimed range of up to 212km on a full charge. The battery can be fully charged in around 4.5 hours.
The electric three-wheeler comes with four driving modes: Eco, Power, Climb, and Park Assist. These modes are designed to provide different levels of performance depending on driving conditions and use cases.
Bajaj also highlights the Wego P5009’s operating cost. Based on a ₱15.00 per kWh electricity rate, its 9.216kWh battery and claimed 212km range translate to an estimated operating cost of around ₱0.80 per kilometer.
The Wego P5009 is priced at an introductory ₱329,888 in the Philippines.
Its battery, motor, and vehicle are covered by a 36-month or 50,000-kilometer warranty, whichever comes first.
Bajaj positions the Wego P5009 as a vehicle for different use cases, including daily income-generating work, business operations, and local government mobility.
The Wego P5009 is now available at all 38 Bajaj 3S Shops nationwide.
