Nearly three months after launching its electric motorcycles in the Philippines, VinFast is highlighting owner experiences with the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper to address common concerns about electric two-wheelers, including range, reliability, charging, and wet-road use.
For daily commuting, the VinFast Evo offers up to 5,200W of maximum power with two batteries, a top speed of up to 80 km/h, and a claimed range of up to 150 km with two batteries. According to VinFast, one battery takes around 4.5 hours to fully charge, while some users report charging only once every three days for regular home-to-work trips.
VinFast also says its electric motorcycles were subjected to 650,000 dynamic durability-test cycles. The motor and Motor Control Unit on the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper carry an IP67 rating. The company claims these components can withstand submersion in up to 0.5 meters of water for 30 minutes, although prolonged or deeper flooding should still be avoided.
Charging can be done through a standard residential outlet using the supplied charger. VinFast says a full charge takes around 4.5 hours for one battery or about nine hours for two batteries. A 1,000W fast charger is also available as an after-sales option.
VinFast currently has 21 showrooms in the Philippines where customers can view and test ride the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper.
