TOKYO, Japan — Honda has officially announced the Honda WN7, its first fixed-battery electric naked motorcycle, marking a major step in the company’s push toward carbon neutrality.
Unveiled in Europe, the WN7 is the production version of the EV Fun Concept shown at EICMA 2024. It represents Honda’s entry into the “Fun” segment of electric motorcycles while also expanding its global EV lineup. Honda aims for all its motorcycles to become carbon-neutral by the 2040s, with electrification set as a core strategy.
The WN7 promises the quiet, smooth ride of an EV while matching the performance of a 600cc gas-powered motorcycle in output and delivering torque on par with 1000cc models.

With the WN7, Honda continues its plan to roll out a full lineup of electric motorcycles, from commuter scooters to performance-focused “Fun” models, in line with its 2050 carbon neutrality target.
