Ducati has revealed a new performance upgrade for its Streetfighter V4 and V4 S models, consisting of ported cylinder heads that increase the engine output by 5 horsepower. The port package is available as an accessory from Ducati Performance and can be installed by authorized dealers.
Ducati Streetfighter V4 Sports Package Unveiled
The ported cylinder heads are the result of Ducati’s experience in MotoGP and Superbike racing, where the company has developed advanced techniques to optimize the airflow in the combustion chamber. The port package improves the volumetric efficiency of the engine, allowing it to breathe better and produce more power.
The Streetfighter V4 and V4 S are already among the most powerful naked bikes on the market, with a 1103 cc, Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine that delivers 208 horsepower and 123 Nm of torque. With the port package, the power increases to 213 horsepower, while the torque remains unchanged.
The port package is compatible with both Euro 4 and Euro 5 versions of the Streetfighter V4 and V4 S, and does not affect the warranty or homologation of the bike. The price of the port package is $3,995 USD (~PHP 221k), excluding installation costs.
