A Portable Electric Scooter that you can fold and unfold in just seven (7) seconds. Kickstarter project name TOM (TOMove) is currently ongoing. TOM is not your ordinary electric scooter. It has a unique design that combines a bamboo body with an aluminum frame, making it lightweight, durable, and eco-friendly. As mentioned, It can fold and unfold in less than seven seconds, thanks to its clever mechanism that hides the seat, the handlebar, and the front wheel inside the wooden shell.

When folded, TOM measures only 3.1 feet in height and weighs less than 20 kg, making it easy to carry around or store in small spaces.
But TOM is not just a portable scooter. It is also a powerful one. It boasts a 750 Wh battery pack that can deliver a top speed of 45 kmph and a range of 50 km on a single charge. And if you need to juice up your devices on the go, TOM can act as a power bank, thanks to its dedicated slot that lets you plug in your cables.
You can also connect your smartphone to TOM via an app that lets you monitor the battery level, locate the scooter, and receive alerts if someone tries to touch or steal it.
If you want to personalize your ride, you can choose from different designs for the wooden shell or even get a matching helmet.
TOM is currently available for pre-order on Kickstarter, where it has already surpassed its funding goal. The first deliveries are expected to start in November 2023 in Italy, and hopefully soon in other countries as well.
