Spyder Veyron Modular Helmet Price unveiled

The Spyder Veyron is Spyder Philippines’ newest modular helmet, and it leads with its safety paperwork. The 180-degree flip-up carries ECE 22.06 and dual P/J homologation, which means it passed testing both as a full-face and as an open-face helmet. Introductory pricing starts at ₱6,300.

What the dual P/J certification means

Most flip-up helmets are only rated to be ridden with the chin bar locked down. The P/J label changes that. The P approves the helmet with the chin bar closed, the J approves it with the chin bar up, so the rating covers both positions. ECE 22.06 is the newer, stricter standard that replaced 22.05, with far more impact test points and a visor penetration test added to the mix. On a budget flip-up, seeing both labels together is the real story here.

Spyder Veyron price and availability

Spyder is selling the Veyron in two visor setups. The smoke visor version starts at ₱6,300, down from a regular ₱6,500. The chrome visor version starts at ₱6,500, down from ₱6,800. The brand calls these introductory prices and says they run for a limited time. Stock hits physical stores in NCR and nearby provinces on June 15. Official online stores and Visayas-Mindanao branches follow after that date.

Features and build

The shell is ABS composite. Spyder fits it with a dual visor system, a main visor plus a drop-down internal sun visor, and the main visor is Pinlock ready for anti-fog inserts. It is intercom ready for comms units. The liner is removable and washable, the strap uses a quick-release retention system, and Spyder bundles a small tool for swapping visors.

Weight sits at 1,780 grams, give or take 50 grams, which Spyder says is standard for 180-degree helmets. For context, that is heavier than Spyder’s own Force modular at 1,600 grams. Flip-ups carry extra hardware for the chin mechanism, so they almost always weigh more than a plain full-face.

Sizing

Spyder uses a multi-EPS setup, meaning two shell sizes across the range instead of one. The small EPS covers S and M. The large EPS covers L, XL, and 2XL. Bigger heads get a genuinely bigger shell rather than just thicker foam, which usually means a better fit at the extremes.

Where the Veyron sits

At ₱6,300 to ₱6,500, the Veyron lands squarely in the budget-to-midrange flip-up bracket here, going up against value names like LS2. The certification is the hook. Plenty of cheap modulars in the local market still ship on the older 22.05 standard or skip jet approval entirely, so an ECE 22.06 P/J lid at this price is worth a closer look.
