There has been lots of talk about Husqvarna’s new bike. It is called the Svartpilen 801. We know a little about it. Husqvarna will tell us more on March 19th.
The Svartpilen 801 does not weigh much. It is 181 kilograms without fuel or other things. This makes it easy to move around. A twin cylinder engine from KTM will power it. This engine can make 105 horsepower.
Husqvarna tested the Svartpilen 801 on tracks and dirt. They wanted it to turn corners well and drift the back wheel when exiting. It will be exciting to see it slide out of turns. The suspension can be adjusted for a smooth or rough ride. Electronic parts like traction control and quick shifting come standard. Riders can focus on enjoying without worrying about spinning wheels or missed gears.
Rumors shows performance may be like Ducati’s fun Panigale when using its corner modes. We must wait until March 19th for all details. It should be available later next year.
The full information coming next month will share more details once it launch.
