In an official reply to inquiries, the company stated: “MC Scooters or any type of scooters are on hold for new installations (for now) with 400cc above to use the expressways as this is still under discussion with the higher management and waiting for the official list of approved models from LTO.”

Motorcycles with 400cc engines are legally permitted to use expressways under Philippine regulations. However, Autosweep has paused RFID installations until the Land Transportation Office (LTO) releases an official list of approved motorcycle models. The decision is pending internal management discussions and regulatory alignment.

The suspension affects riders who purchased larger motorcycles specifically for expressway access. Without RFID, they cannot take advantage of cashless toll transactions, limiting convenience and compliance with tollway systems.

Autosweep has assured riders that updates will be provided once the LTO finalizes the list of approved models and management concludes its review.
