Thai electric vehicle manufacturer Felo unveiled a new electric touring motorcycle, the Tooz, at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show. The Tooz stands out for its impressive claimed maximum range of exactly 720km on a single charge from its large lithium-ion battery pack.
In addition to the long range, the Tooz features Vehicle to Load functionality. This allows it to provide 1200W of power to other electric devices from its 36V battery. The battery can be fast charged from 20-80% state of charge in only 20 minutes using its Type 2 charger port.
Also, the Tooz has a functional touring design with expansive flat bodywork, a large 36L topbox, and 40L panniers. Another configuration states that one 40L pannier can be converted into an insulated 12L chilled storage box. They also added safety features include anti-lock braking system and traction control.
While the the dashboard features a large 12.1-inch TFT screen with built-in navigation and a 360-degree camera. Felo, a subsidiary of Thai EV manufacturer Smartech Co. Ltd., built the Tooz but has not yet specified the battery capacity or motor output. The Tooz is expected to launch for sale in Thailand within the next 3-6 months.
