ZXMOTO has also brought the 820RR to the Philippines for only ₱520,000, with just a ₱50,000 reservation fee through Access Plus.

This is the model that made headlines in March when it won its first-ever World Supersport race in Portugal — the first WSBK-paddock victory by a Chinese manufacturer.

The bike that beat Ducati and Yamaha

On March 28 and 29, 2026, French rider Valentin Debise took two straight wins at the Portimão round of the World Supersport Championship aboard a race-spec ZXMOTO 820RR-RS, finishing Race 1 a full 3.685 seconds ahead of a Ducati Panigale V2. The win put ZXMOTO into third place in the manufacturers’ standings, ahead of Triumph, Kawasaki, and Honda, within its first four races. Pre-orders in China reportedly surged 200% in the three days that followed.

China announcement and price gap

ZXMOTO unveiled the 820RR globally at EICMA 2025 in Milan last November, and officially launched it in China with customer deliveries on April 3, 2026 — four days after the Portimão wins.

In China, the 820RR sells for 43,800 yuan, or roughly ₱345,000 (~$6,400). At ₱520,000 SRP locally, that’s a difference of about ₱175,000, a ~50% markup that’s typical for big-bike imports here once taxes, freight, and dealer margin stack up. For context, a Ducati Panigale V2, the bike Debise beat at Portimão — retails for roughly three times the 820RR’s local price.

How to reserve

Reservations are open at Access Plus, 102 P. Tuazon Blvd, Cubao, Quezon City, with branches in Iloilo (Mandurriao) and Pampanga (Clark Freeport Zone). Reach them via landline 7954-5752, Edmund Corpuz at +63 928 850 1229, or Sannelyn at +63 917 707 8428.

A ₱520,000 supersport from a brand that didn’t exist three years ago is either a leap of faith or the deal of the decade — depending on who you ask.

The race wins are real, the specs match the European competition on paper, and the price undercuts every Japanese 600-class rival in the country.

The unknown is what ownership looks like five years in: parts supply, resale value, service network.

Would you put down ₱50,000 on a 135hp inline-three from Chongqing, or wait a couple of years to see how the first batch holds up? Sound off in the comments — we want to hear it.
