BMW Motorrad USA unveils 2024 BMW CE 02 electric scooter

BMW Motorrad USA has launched the 2024 BMW CE 02, an innovative, electric two-wheeler that aims to revolutionize urban mobility for younger generations. Touted as an ‘eParkourer’, the CE 02 is a fresh take on the traditional e-motorbike and e-scooter, boasting a minimalist yet robust design.

The CE 02 is a brainchild of the BMW Motorrad Design team, led by Edgar Heinrich. The model is designed to cater to young, urban riders, providing an all-new electric riding experience.

BMW CE 02 Unique Features

The CE 02 is not just another electric vehicle; it combines the practicality and durability of a motorbike with the fun and ease of use of a scooter. With its 15 hp engine and two 48v, 1.96 kWh lithium-ion batteries, the CE 02 ensures a dynamic, speedy ride, offering a top speed of 59 mph.

Additional features of the CE 02 include a 3.5″ micro TFT display, a USB-C socket, and connectivity via the BMW Motorrad Connected app. The optional HIGHLINE package offers heated grips, a quick charger, and the Ride Modes Pro. Accessories such as side cases and an anti-theft alarm are also available.

Notably, The bike offers two standard riding modes, “Flow” and “Surf”, and an optional “Flash” mode with the HIGHLINE package. The model is set to arrive in the U.S. with an MSRP of $7,599 (~ PHP 421k)and will be available for purchase in the U.S. starting in 2024. No words yet if this will be available in other countries like the Philippines.
