QJMOTOR FORT 150GT is now official in China, and it arrives with a mild-hybrid engine and a starting price of RMB 11,999, about USD 1,670, or roughly PHP 108,000 by direct conversion.

QJMOTOR FORT 150GT

QJMOTOR rolled out the standard version on June 3. A higher-spec variant sits just above it at RMB 12,299, and the only real difference is a set of front and rear dash cameras. Both wear the same flat-floor body built for daily city riding.

The FORT 150GT borrows its face from QJMOTOR’s sportbike line. Sharp panels, a two-tone finish, and an LED projector headlight up front. A full-width Starship LED taillight handles the rear. At 2,150mm long, it stretches past most 150cc scooters in its class.

Power comes from a 150cc PCR liquid-cooled engine with four valves. It makes 12.2 kW, about 16.3 hp, with 14.8 N·m of torque. Here is the part worth a second look: QJMOTOR pairs it with a Power Zero mild-hybrid system. The setup adds automatic start-stop and up to eight seconds of electric assist off the line, which sharpens throttle response and cuts the shudder when the engine restarts.

Comfort sits high on the spec sheet. The seat height is 770mm, the curb weight is 142kg, and the windscreen adjusts electrically. The flat floor frees up legroom and cargo space. Under the seat is a storage bin, plus a hidden hook for a helmet or a bag. The fuel tank holds 10 liters.

Tech is where the FORT 150GT tries to stand out. A 7-inch full-color TFT screen handles navigation mirroring, tire pressure readouts, and ride data. Riders can unlock it through Bluetooth, NFC, or the QJ Smart App. The app handles remote authorization and digital key sharing too.

Safety kit is standard on both variants. Dual-channel ABS, traction control, front and rear disc brakes, and CST semi-slick tires. The LED lighting front and rear adds visibility at night.

Now the local angle. QJMOTOR already sells here through Bristol, and its Power Zero hybrid scooters are nothing new to Filipino riders. The ATR 160 and the Fortress 160 carry the same hybrid assist, TFT dash, and dual-channel ABS, priced at around PHP 149,900 and PHP 139,900. The FORT 150GT has no confirmed Philippine release yet. On paper, its 16.3 hp slots between the Honda Air Blade 160 and the Honda SH160i, the two scooters it would chase in this market.

So the real question is whether a 150cc hybrid scooter with this much kit can pull buyers away from the Honda 160 crowd that owns the segment here. Would you take a connected QJMOTOR over a proven Honda if the price lands right? And which part hooked you, the dash cameras, the eight-second hybrid boost, or that 7-inch screen? Drop your thoughts in the comments. We want to know which side you are on.
