Kawasaki’s new KLE 500 adventure bike will very likely be sold in the Philippines soon. Government papers show that Kawasaki has already asked for permission to sell a 451cc motorcycle here, which matches the KLE 500.
Before any new gas-powered motorcycle can be sold and registered in the Philippines, it needs an emissions certificate from the government. Kawasaki Motors Philippines applied for this on October 22, 2025, and it was approved on December 1, 2025 for two bikes. One has a 998cc engine, likely a big sport bike like a ZX-10R or H2, and the other has a 451cc engine.
Right now, the only Kawasaki model that fits the 451cc description in this case is the new KLE 500 adventure bike. This makes it very strong proof that Kawasaki is getting ready to sell the KLE 500 in local dealerships. The papers were also filed just days before the KLE 500 was officially shown in the US, which suggests Kawasaki Philippines was already planning ahead.
Kawasaki Philippines has not yet officially announced the KLE 500 for the Philippines, so nothing is 100% confirmed.
