A new app called Wheelbase is now available in the Philippines, aiming to make motorcycle riding safer and more connected. Created by Colab Digital Solutions, the app was built with real riders in mind, especially after a fatal accident involving a local riding group in 2024.

Launched in December 2025, Wheelbase focuses on what happens when a rider crashes and no one knows where they are. Its Emergency Safety feature sends alerts to chosen contacts and riding groups when a crash is detected. Riders can also manually activate the alert with a simple three-second press. The system shares the rider’s location, helping friends or family respond quickly.

Wheelbase also supports riders during regular trips. The app helps users find nearby motorcycle repair shops, parts dealers, and accessory stores. This is useful during long rides or when problems happen on unfamiliar roads.

The app tracks rides and routes, allowing riders to review their trips or share routes with others. This helps build a community of shared roads, trails, and destinations tested by fellow riders.

Wheelbase also makes it easier to organize group rides and events. Users can create tambikes, meet-ups, and motorcycle shows, choosing who can see and join each event.

A built-in marketplace allows riders to buy and sell gear within the community, offering a more trusted space than open marketplaces. Wheelbase is now available on the Apple App Store, with an Android version coming soon.
