In a recent event in Tanauan City, Batangas, Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI), the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the country, unveiled the latest addition to its lineup, the CLICK160. The company emphasized not only the key features of the new bike but also advocated for safety on the roads, given the increasing popularity of motorcycle commuting in the Philippines.
The CLICK160 offers an advanced 4-stroke, 4-valve, SOHC, liquid-cooled engine that provides powerful performance and optimal fuel efficiency of 46.7 Km/L. With modern innovations such as a full digital panel meter, an all-LED lighting system, and a smart key system with anti-theft alarm. An added feature is a USB charger, catering to the tech-savvy Filipino riders.
However, Honda didn’t only highlight the performance features. To promote safety, the CLICK160 is equipped with the Honda’s Combi Braking System (CBS) for stable braking and wider tires for improved road traction.
They also stress the importance of proper riding gear for safety, including a helmet that complies with Republic Act No. 10054 or the Motorcycle Helmet Act of 2009. Full-fingered riding gloves with hard plastic components, high-quality riding boots, and reinforced riding jackets and jeans are also recommended by HPI.
