The emergence of Gogoro Philippines is a testament to a landmark collaboration between the Globe Group’s 917Ventures Inc., Ayala Corporation, and Taiwan’s Gogoro. This synergy aims to introduce Gogoro’s world-class green technology to the Philippines, echoing the brand’s massive success in Taiwan.

Having reshaped the urban landscape in Taiwan, the Gogoro Network supports nearly 550,000 riders, with over 1.1 million smart batteries in circulation, resulting in more than 480 million battery swaps and a notable reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.

This venture marks the Globe Group’s initial step into climate tech, emphasizing the group’s commitment to championing sustainable transport in the Philippines. By prioritizing intelligent and eco-friendly mobility, this strategic alliance promises to make green transportation both accessible and inclusive.

Building on its momentum, Gogoro has already piloted its Smartscooters with Globe employees, gathering crucial feedback for its commercial launch. Additionally, the company continues to expand its GoStations, with the latest installment at The Globe Tower in Taguig City.

With the inauguration of the Gogoro Experience Center, the Philippines is poised to embrace a sustainable, tech-forward, and efficient transport system that champions reduced carbon emissions and a transformative approach to urban mobility.
