CFMoto has officially dropped the new 150SC scooter in the Philippines, priced competitively at P119,800. Positioned as a rival to the Honda PCX 160 and Yamaha NMax 155, the 150SC features a sporty, eye-catching design with vibrant accent colors.
Under the hood, the 150SC is powered by a 149cc liquid-cooled, SOHC single-cylinder engine that produces 14.08hp at 8,250rpm and 14.2Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The company claims a fuel efficiency of 40km/L, though this figure seems conservative, and local performance will be put to the test soon.
In terms of tech, the 150SC comes equipped with a five-inch full-color TFT display, both USB-A and USB-C charging ports, front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, and switchable traction control. Designed to suit city commuters, it offers a seat height of 765mm, ground clearance of 135mm, curb weight of 135kg, and an 8.5-liter fuel tank.
Color options include Space Silver, Storm Grey, Gem Black, and Solar Silver, with only one variant currently available in the market. CFMoto fans may find this model a worthy alternative in the small-scooter lineup, but how it holds up against its well-established Japanese competitors remains to be seen.
