Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) took the wraps off their latest offering this February, the All-New 2024 Honda Winner X (also known as Honda Supra GTR), during a launch event at SM Southmall. It was quite the gathering with familiar faces from other media, vloggers and content creators, but not just for the unveiling of this eagerly anticipated bike but also for the reveal of their new brand ambassador, David Licauco, a familiar face from TV.
Let’s dive into what the highly anticipated Winner X has to offer. Honda has rolled out this model in three distinct variants, each designed to suit a range of preferences and styles.
For starters, the Standard Edition of the Honda Winner X is available in two colors: Pearl Iceberg White and Infinity Red. It’s a classic choice for those who appreciate a clean and straightforward look. Then there’s the ABS Premium variant, which takes things up a notch with Matte Galaxy Black Metallic and Matte Meteor Red Metallic – a bit more sophisticated and modern in finish. And for those who lean towards a sportier aesthetic, the ABS Racing Variant in the signature Infinity Red really stands out.
Talking about its design, the Winner X makes a statement with its aggressive, sporty angles and sharp lines. It’s a bike that will draw attention on the streets, not just for its looks but also for the sound and performance of its engine.
Speaking of performance, the heart of the Winner X is its 149cc 4-Stroke, 4-valve, DOHC engine, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. This setup is cooled by Honda’s PGM-Fi fuel system, optimizing performance to deliver a punchy 11.5kW of power at 9,000 rpm and 13.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. What’s impressive is its fuel efficiency, clocking in at 52.3 km/L, which is quite a feat for a bike of this caliber.
On the tech front, the Winner X is no slouch either. It comes equipped with a digital meter panel. The all-LED lighting system, and features like the USB charging port, Smart Key System, and Anti-theft alarm add a layer of convenience and security that’s much appreciated.
Now, about the cost – the Standard edition is priced at ₱123,900, which seems pretty reasonable for what you’re getting. If you’re looking for those extra features, the ABS Premium variant will set you back ₱129,900, and the ABS Racing edition is slightly higher at ₱131,900.
