Yamaha Tmax 2023
The big brother of all Yamaha scooters, and it is powered by a 562cc DOHC Parallel-twin Cylinder that puts out 35 kW at 7500 rpm and 55.7 Nm at 5250 rpm paired with a V-Belt automatic transmission. It is packed with a lot of features such as the TFT Display with a full-map navigation, electrically adjustable windscreen, cruise control, smart keyless operation, and an anti-theft locking center stand. It has a weight of 220 kg and has a 15L tank capacity. The Yamaha Tmax standard version will set you back for PHP 779,000 and PHP 849,000 for the Yamaha Tmax Techmax version.

Kymco Xciting 400 VS
The newly announced iteration of Kymco Xciting 400, this is one of the best selling maxie scooter in the Philippines since this is priced competitively in the expressway-legal scooter market in the Philippines. It boasts a physical transformation from its predecessors, featuring a more angular and striking front look. One notable upgrade is its gauge cluster, which has transitioned from analog-digital to an all-digital display. It has some new features compared to its predecessor such as an electrically adjustable windscreen, ride-by-wire throttle and cruise control. The Kymco AK550 Premium will set you back for Php 649,000.
Bristol Maxie 400
Bristol Motorcycle Philippines aims to have a unit on each category of motorcycle such as scrambler, adventure and now Maxi-Scooter segment. The Bristol Maxie 400 is powered by a 377cc single-cylinder engine that puts out 29.1 hp at 7000 rpm and 35.5 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm mated in to a CVT. It has a ton of features for an entry-level maxi scooter such as a TFT Display, front and rear dash cam, TPMS (Tire-Pressure Monitoring System) and you can also connect the motorcycle into a proprietary application to track your riding trips, navigation and also arm and disarm feature. The price of Bristol Maxie 400 is around PHP 368,000. You can get it lower since Bristol often gives discounts on their models.
Suzuki Burgman 400
This is the most comfortable maxi-scooter I’ve sat on in the Makina MotoShow 2023, and I see why this is famous in other countries as well. The Suzuki Burgnman 400 is powered by a 400cc DOHC single-cylinder engine mated into a CVT that produces 30.5 hp at 6,300 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. It has features such as ABS, traction control, large seat compartment, analog-digital display, The Suzuki Burgman will set you back at PHP 529,000.
Honda X-Adv 750
This is the scooter to go if you want to ride on and off road. It is powered by a 749cc DOHC twin-cylinder engine that puts out 43.1 kW at 6,750 rpm and 69 Nm at 4,750rpm. It has a DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission) compared to CVT from other maxi-scooters. It has features such as a TFT Display, ABS, Spokes rim as stock, LED lights, cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle and keyless operations. The Honda X-Adv 750 will set you back at PHP 839,000.
Peugeot XP400
The Peugeot XP400 is another option in the maxi-scooter segment in the Philippines. It has a liquid-cooled 400cc single-cylinder motor that produces a maximum power of 36.7hp at 8150 rpm, and a torque output of 38.1Nm at 5400 rpm.
The XP400’s design was heavily influenced by the Honda X-ADV 750. It has a variety of features, including a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, dual channel ABS, large under-seat compartment. It will come with either alloy or spoke wheels configuration, depending on the variant. The Peugeot XP400 will set you back at PHP 555,900.
SYM Maxsym 400i
SYM or Sanyang Motor Co. LTD is a Taiwanese motorcycle manufacturer. The SYM Maxsym 400i was one of the early models of maxi-scooter released in the Philippines. The design may look outdated compared to other maxi-scooters but it certainly has an ample amount of power to conquer the expressway. It is powered by a single-cylinder 400cc that produces 35 HP at 7000 rpm and 34.50 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm mated into a CVT. It features dual-disc front brakes with ABS, analog-digital display. The SYM Maxsym 400i is priced at PHP 318,000.

Wow and whew!!! Very nice rich features upgraded! But the prices is too much, you could get a car for it’s pretty good price. Anyway, for those who have a lot of money 💰 go for it 😁 but again very few to get one, we are not in the same status rich people, we are outnumbered by the poor. Solution: Make it affordable for the whole world 🌎
