The Kawasaki Eliminator 400 was a cruiser-style motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 1986 and 2004. Now in the 2023 Osaka Motor Show, it is making a comeback and many are excited to try this 400cc cruiser of Kawasaki.
It has the same engine as the 400cc Kawasaki motorcycle which is a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, DOHC, 399cc engine capable of producing around the same output as the Kawasaki Z400 and Ninja 400.
The bike’s frame was a double-cradle design made of high-tensile steel, providing a sturdy foundation for the cruiser-style riding position. The front suspension featured a conventional telescopic fork, while the rear suspension consisted of twin shock absorbers. The bike’s braking system is comprised of a single disc brake at the front and back with ABS.
The Eliminator 400’s classic styling was evident in its low-slung seat, long and wide handlebars, and teardrop-shaped fuel tank. The digital instrument cluster added a touch of modernity, while the two-into-one exhaust system and wide rear tire gave it a distinctive look and sound.
In terms of dimensions, the Eliminator 400 had a wheelbase of 1520mm, a seat height of 735mm, and a weight of around 176kg. These features made it a comfortable and maneuverable cruiser suitable for riders of all skill levels.
