Battery and Charging time

Both the Kawasaki Ninja e-1 and Kawasaki Z e-1 has removable 30 amp-hour battery packs. users can charge them directly from a standard outlet, use a docking station, or charge them while still in the bike. Kawasaki claims that a full charge, which takes about 3.7 hours, provides a range of 41 miles, although real-world range may vary.

Frame and Suspension

The frame is using a sturdy steel trellis design, common to Kawasaki bikes. Front suspension is handled by a 41mm telescopic fork, while the rear uses a Uni-Trak setup, ensuring a comfortable ride.

Dimensions

The Kawasaki Ninja e-1 and Z e-1 both boast a wheelbase measuring 53.9 inches and a length of 78 inches. Yet, they show minor variations in width, height, and weight. Notably, the Ninja e-1 stands a tad taller and weighs more compared to the Z e-1.

Power Modes

There are two power modes – Eco and Road – allow you to manage performance based on your needs. The e-Boost function gives a short burst of extra power, handy for overtaking or uphill climbs. While Eco mode for more efficient and longer mileage.

Walk Mode

Both bikes features a useful Walk Mode which helps in moving the bikes at a slow pace, making parking easier. This feature allows a max speed of about 3 mph forward and 1.8 mph in reverse.

Additional Features

Both bikes have a 4.3-inch color display, Bluetooth connectivity, and some storage space. The front trunk and under seat storage area provide room for small items.

Pricing and Availability

While in the US, the Ninja e-1 is priced at $7,599 (~PHP 431k+) a bit pricier than the Z e-1 at $7,299 (~PHP 414k+). Orders are open until November 30, 2023, with deliveries starting from December 2023 through June 2024.
