Harley-Davidson and QJ Motors have jointly unveiled their latest motorcycle, the X500. The motorcycle is essentially a QJ product, specifically based on the Benelli Leoncino 500, with similar engine, frame, wheels, and suspension components. This collaboration is aimed primarily for the Chinese market.
Harley-Davidson X500 Features
Powered by a liquid-cooled fuel-injected 500cc DOHC eight-valve Parallel-Twin engine, the X 500 claims 46.9 hp @ 8500 rpm and 33.9 lb-ft. @ 6000 rpm. Dual discs with four-piston calipers at the front and a single-piston caliper at the rear, plus ABS being included.
The X500 sports 17-inch cast aluminum wheels with Maxxis Supermaxx ST tires, a 120/70-ZR17/58W on the front and a 160/60-ZR17/69W for the rear. It also comes with raised handlebars, mid-mount foot controls, and a 32.3-inch seat height, providing a fairly neutral riding position.
Additionally, it features a 3.4-gallon fuel tank, all LED lighting, and a rounded instrument cluster. The Harley-Davidson X500 is available in three color choices: orange, silver, and Vivid Black, with pricing yet to be determined, but we do hope this will arrive on the Philippines shores as well.
