Last April, during the Makina Moto Show 2024 held at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Honda Philippines Inc. unveiled their groundbreaking tech for big bike motorcycles: the “E-clutch” system. Basically, think of it as a semi-automatic motorcycle but for the big boys! Yup! It still has those manual clutch levers, but riders have the flexibility to switch to pure automatic with the help of the e-clutch technology.
During the event, they also unveiled all-new versions of the following big bike motorcycles. However, the pricing for the e-clutch variants wasn’t revealed back then. After almost two months of waiting, we finally have the official prices (sort of).
Here are the prices for both Standard and E-clutch variants of the Honda big bikes in the Philippines:
Model | Variant | Official Price (PHP) |
Honda CBR Fireblade 2024 | Standard | 1,699,000 |
Honda CBR 650R 2024 | Standard | 554,000 |
Honda CBR 650R 2024 | E-Clutch | ***,000 |
Honda CB 650R 2024 | Standard | 524,000 |
Honda CB 650R 2024 | E-Clutch | 564,000 |
Honda Hornet 500 2024 | Standard | 379.000 |
Honda NX 500 2024 | Standard | 409,000 |
As of writing, the price of the Honda CBR 650R E-clutch variant hasn’t been revealed, but it’s safe to assume that if the Honda CB 650R E-clutch version increased by just 40k, the CBR will be roughly around that price as well—probably 594k to 600k? Just a guesstimate.
How about you? What is your guess for the price of the E-clutch variant of the CBR 650? Do let us know in the comments section. Also, is it worth the upgrade for you?
We will update this article once we have the full details, as we will also get a chance to test drive these units soon. Stay tuned!
