In the same year, Moovr saw massive growth, adding 250,000 new users, pushing its total user base to 600,000.

To meet demand, the company increased its fleet of bikes and e-scooters—especially during the holiday season, when foot traffic surged in Metro Manila’s business districts.

The company estimates that it has already offset over 300,000kg of carbon dioxide emissions by encouraging commuters to ditch cars for sustainable transport options.

Moovr isn’t stopping there. Expansion plans are in the works, with the company aiming to reach more cities in the Philippines.

According to Shiela Raña, Moovr’s head of fleet management, “This simply shows the endless possibilities of what we can do to continue safeguarding the environment when we collaborate with local communities to prioritize sustainability.”

Right now, Moovr charges P25 for a 15-minute bike rental and P45 for a 10-minute e-scooter ride.

Riders need to bring their own helmets and safety gear to comply with regulations.

With its rapid growth, could Moovr be the future of short-distance travel in Metro Manila? Let us know your thoughts!
