Ather Energy has officially launched the updated 450 Series for 2025, introducing significant improvements in features, battery range, and connectivity options.
The lineup includes the 450S and two variants of the 450X, featuring new technology and updated design elements aimed at enhancing user experience.
One of the key additions to the 2025 series is the multimode traction control system, offering three settings: Rain Mode for wet surfaces, Rally Mode for challenging terrain, and Road Mode for everyday use.
Riders also have the option to disable traction control entirely.
Another standout feature is the Magic Twist regenerative braking, allowing riders to decelerate by twisting the throttle backward, reducing the need for traditional braking and recharging the battery in the process.
Battery range has been improved across the series, with the IDC range for the 450S increasing from 115km to 122km, the 450X 2.9kWh variant from 115km to 126km, and the 450X 3.7kWh variant from 115km to 161km. These improvements are complemented by the introduction of Zapper N e-Tred tyres, co-developed with MRF, which enhance range by reducing rolling resistance.
Charging times have also been revised, with the 450S now capable of reaching 80% charge in 5 hours and 30 minutes, and the 450X 2.9kWh variant achieving the same in just 3 hours. Customers opting for the Pro Pack will benefit from the Ather Duo 700W home charger, designed to further reduce charging time.
The series comes equipped with Atherstack 6, the company’s latest software platform, introducing features like WhatsApp notifications on the dashboard, Alexa integration for voice commands, and the Ping My Scooter feature for locating the vehicle in a parking lot.
Additionally, the Ather App now offers enhanced ride statistics, rebranded as Ride Stories.
Two new color options, Stealth Blue and Hyper Sand, have been introduced for the 2025 lineup.
The scooters are priced at Rs. 1,19,999 for the 450S, Rs. 1,46,999 for the 450X 2.9kWh variant, and Rs. 1,56,999 for the 450X 3.7kWh variant, with the Pro Pack available for an additional cost.
With these updates, Ather aims to deliver a more versatile and feature-rich experience to its users.
