The Motorcycle Development Program Participants Association, Inc. (MDPPA) threw a big party to mark its 50-year anniversary. At the Trinoma Activity Center, this event carried the upbeat theme, “MDPPA Rider’s United: Riding Roads Responsibly for 50 Years.” It was all about bringing together folks who love motorcycles and celebrating half a century of safe and fun riding in the Philippines.
Kicked off with a display of cool, new motorcycle gear and gadgets. Everyone got to check out the latest helmets, jackets, and bike models. It was like a sneak peek into the cool future of motorcycling.
MDPPA President Norminio C. Mojica shared the joy of reaching 50 years, highlighting how MDPPA has always put safety and community first. The notable highlight of the day was the entrance of TVS Motor Company into the MDPPA fold, marking its place in the local market. Being a giant in the global motorcycle arena as the fifth largest player, TVS’s involvement was a significant addition. With a hefty revenue of 2.6 billion US dollars, annual sales hitting 3.2 million units, and a production powerhouse churning out over 5.7 million vehicles, TVS’s entry certainly added a flavor to the MDPPA community.
As the sun set, the celebration hit a high note with a live concert that got everyone moving. And the cherry on top? A raffle draw where some lucky guests won awesome prizes, including a brand-new motorcycle!
MDPPA’s Vice President Alex Cumpas talked about how they want to keep working on making riding safe, obeying laws, and being kind to the environment. It’s all about making the motorcycle world better, step by step. Showing how MDPPA and its pals are all about enjoying motorcycles while also keeping the roads safe. As they zoom into the future, MDPPA remains focused on keeping the spirit of safe and responsible riding alive and revving.
