Motostrada, the official distributor of CFMOTO in the Philippines, is gearing up for a big October 2024 launch. While they are already expected to unveil the 675SR-R and 500SR VOOM models, there’s a surprise third addition to their lineup: the New Scooter CFMOTO 150SC 12. This new model will compete directly with popular scooters like Yamaha’s NMAX.

CFMOTO Philippines has also been teasing a silhouette photo on social media, which closely resembles the 150SC. This leads to speculation that the brand will launch the scooter in the Philippines just a month after its global debut in China, making it available to local riders very soon.

The CFMOTO 150SC packs a punch with a 149cc liquid-cooled engine, offering 14 PS of power and 14.2 Nm of torque. Although the NMAX has a slightly larger engine, the difference in power output is minimal, making the 150SC a strong contender in the scooter market.

Like its competition, the 150SC features modern conveniences such as a keyless system, dual-channel ABS, traction control, and a start/stop system. However, it stands out with a color TFT display, compared to the older LCD display on the NMAX. The scooter also boasts a larger fuel tank at 8.5 liters.

The CFMOTO 150SC will be available in various colors, including Space Silver, Solar Silver, Storm Grey, and Gem Black. Pricing will be revealed by Motostrada at the official launch soon.
