2024 KTM 250 Duke Features
One of the most noticeable change in the KTM 250 Duke is the new trellis frame, which now offers an aluminium sub-frame and a banana-type swingarm.
With this upgrade, it reduced the weight and improved the handling. The new Unique KTM frame also allows for a larger fuel tank capacity of 14.5 liters, up from 13.5 liters.
While KTM upgraded the engine it is still based on the KTM 390 Duke. right out of the bat It offers a 250 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder that now meets the Euro 5.2 emission and delivers a whopping 31.27 PS of power and 25 Nm of torque. The engine is also a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and a quick-shifter.
The electronics package is also ben impoved, as the new KTM 250 Duke comes with a 5-inch LCD dashboard that offers smartphone connectivity and navigation functions via the KTM My Ride app. This upgraded dashboard also displays various information such as speed, rpm, gear position, fuel level, trip meter, clock, and more.
The styling of the new KTM 250 Duke is inspired by the KTM 1290 Super Duke R, which is evident from the new LED headlamp and tail light that have a radical design. The bike also gets a new paint scheme in Electric Orange or Ceramic White with vibrant graphics. The overall look of the bike is aggressive and sporty, reflecting its performance-oriented nature.
2024 KTM 250 Duke Availability
The new KTM 250 Duke is expected to launch in India early next year with a substantial price increase from the current model. It will compete with other bikes such as the Yamaha FZ25, Suzuki Gixxer 250, and Bajaj Dominar 250. The new KTM 250 Duke is a part of the KTM Duke range, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
