Honda introduces new PCX160 models, Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the country, has launched two new variants of its popular PCX160 scooter, the CBS and the ABS, that are designed to provide more safety and comfort for riders during the rainy season.
Honda PCX160 Features
The PCX160-CBS comes with the Combi Brake System or CBS, which distributes braking power to the front and rear wheels when engaging just the rear brake lever. This offers more efficient braking control and makes it ideal for novice riders. The PCX160-ABS is equipped with front-wheel Anti-Lock Braking System or ABS, which adjusts the braking pressure accordingly to prevent the wheel from locking and assists with maintaining the stability of the bike.
Both variants also feature the innovative Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) that prevents rear wheel slip when traversing wet or slippery roads or uneven terrain. The bikes also have new and elegant LED headlights and slimmer X-shaped tail lights. Moreover, the bikes have a secured front pocket with a built-in USB charging port for charging phones.
The PCX160-CBS and PCX160-ABS are powered by a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, single overhead cam engine that delivers 15.6 horsepower and 15 Nm of torque. The bikes also have a spacious 30-liter under-seat compartment that can fit a full-face helmet and other items. The bikes have a 134-mm ground clearance and 110/70 – 14MC front and 130/70 – 13MC rear tires for added traction.

The PCX160-CBS has a suggested retail price of PHP 133,900.00 while the PCX160-ABS has a suggested retail price of PHP 151,900.00. Both models are available in Pearl Fadeless White, Asteroid Black Metallic, and Matte Dim Gray Metallic colors.
