BMW Motorrad has introduced the 2025 F 900 R and F 900 XR, bringing updated features and improved performance to its middleweight motorcycle lineup.
The F 900 R arrives with a new Snapper Rocks Blue Metallic color, adapted from BMW’s car palette. While the color is bold and attention-grabbing, it has divided opinions among riders. For those preferring a more understated look, Triple Black and Style Sport trims remain available.
Meanwhile, the F 900 XR focuses on touring capabilities, offering features like adaptive headlights, a USB-C port, and heated grips for added comfort.
Both models are powered by a parallel-twin engine producing 105 horsepower and 69 pound-feet of torque, developed with Loncin.
They include Dynamic Riding Mode and traction control as standard, alongside ABS Pro and Dynamic Brake Control for enhanced safety and handling.
Weight savings have been achieved through lighter wheels, shedding 3.97 pounds, and a new battery that trims an additional 1.7 pounds.
A revised upside-down telescopic fork with adjustable rebound further improves ride quality.
