Honda Philippines is once again on the lookout for the country’s next racing stars with the return of the Honda Pilipinas Dream Cup (HPDC) 2025. T
he annual competition, now in its seventh year, aims to develop young Filipino riders and prepare them for the international stage.
The program is open to riders aged 10 to 15 years old who have prior track experience.
Those selected will get the chance to train and compete using the Honda CBR150R, a lightweight sportbike designed for agility and precision on the track.
A panel of racing experts will oversee the selection process, including Dashi Watanabe, local racing coach, Shigeki Honda from HARC-PRO, and former MotoGP rider Makoto Tamada.
They will be joined by Honda Racing School (HRS) instructors Yuki Takahashi and Hiroyuki Fujiwara, ensuring that participants receive world-class mentorship.
Tryouts are being held at Tarlac Circuit Hill, where 12 riders will be chosen for the program. Those who make the cut will not only sharpen their skills but also gain exposure to high-level competition, making HPDC a stepping stone for bigger racing opportunities.
