KTM has unveiled the 2024 model of its popular middle-weight naked motorcycle, the 390 Duke, which promises to deliver more power, agility, and fun for riders who want to experience the thrill of naked sports bikes. The new 390 Duke features a new two-piece frame design, a bigger single-cylinder engine, and a fresh suite of electronic functions that make it a ‘corner rocket’ on the road.

The new frame of the 390 Duke consists of a steel trellis main frame and a pressure die-cast aluminum subframe, which improves the riding dynamics and handling of the bike. The new engine is a 399cc liquid-cooled four-stroke that delivers 44.2 horsepower and 28.8 lb-ft of torque, which is an increase from the previous 373cc engine that produced 42.9 horsepower and 27.2 lb-ft of torque. The new engine also meets the EURO 5+ emission standards, making it more eco-friendly.

The new 390 Duke also boasts a new 5-inch bonded glass TFT dashboard that adapts to different riding modes and conditions. The dashboard is paired with a new switch cube that allows easy interaction with all vehicle functions, including smartphone connectivity. The bike also comes with standard Cornering MTC, which is a traction control system that adjusts to the lean angle of the bike. Additionally, the bike has a new Track Mode that transforms the dashboard graphics to be more race-focused, enlarges the rev counter, shows the lap timer, gear display, and preferred rider aid settings. The bike also has a new Launch Control feature that helps the rider achieve optimal acceleration from a standstill.
The new 390 Duke also sports a new design that reflects its naked and aggressive character. The bike has new air intakes on the tank spoilers, oversized radiator covers, and LED position lights. The bike is available in two colors: Electronic Orange and Atlantic Blue, with clear-gloss graphics and a unique DUKE textured seat cover.

The new 390 Duke is expected to arrive in Australia in early 2024, and in other markets soon after. It is dubbed as ‘THE CORNER ROCKET’ by KTM, as it offers exhilarating performance and fun for beginner riders who want to experience the thrill of naked sports bikes.
KTM has not yet revealed the official cost of the 2024 390 Duke, but it is likely to be around $6,500 (~PHP 367k), which is a bit more than the current cost of $5,899 for the 2023 model.
